Sugar Roasted Peanuts

WARNING:  These are can't-stop-eating delicious and oh so very addictive, please don't say I did not warn you. My husband tells me while he shoves handfuls into his mouth, like a chipmunk to stop making these, everytime a new batch is made. I think  that almonds could probably be used instead of the peanuts, and that adding a hint of cinnamon would be nice. While making these, remember to keeping stirring the peanuts, while in the pan, the last couple of minutes will go real fast, when the liquid turns to powder. You want to get in on a baking sheet just before that. Grease your baking sheet before you start, so it's ready to go into the oven, as soon as the peanuts are dry again. These are a great snack,  I want to make some to give as Christmas gifts this year. Hope you give them a try.

  1. This is not fair. You are tempting us all the time! Such a good idea to substitute popcorns while watching TV.

Toda a gente gostou, inclusive a minha irmã pediu a receita.
