Bacon Wrapped Cheese Stuffed Turkey Breast

Image
This is one of the simplest, least complicated dishes you could make, as it only uses 3 ingredients. It was so delicious, Mr. G loved it, and was astonished, at how quickly it came together. I served these little bundles, with some risotto, and some veggies. Seriously, make this for dinner soon, you will not regret it.       Bacon Wrapped Cheese Stuffed Turkey Breast     1 package turkey breast cutlets (or chicken) 1 package Rondelé soft cheese 1 package bacon     pre~heat oven 200/ 400   Place the cutlets, out on a work surface, lines with parchment paper (makes clean up easy) Spread a nice layer of the flavored cheese on top of the cutlets. Roll them up, into little bundles. Next take 2 or 3 strips of bacon, and wrap it around the bundles. Place the bundles, on a lightly greased (olive oil) baking dish. Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes. Serve with some veggies and rice.   **** I did not add any other seasonings, and it wa...

Culinary Adventures

"Do one thing every day that scares you." Eleanor Roosevelt Since moving to this wonderful little island, 14 years ago, I have hosted a Canadian Thanksgiving Dinner, every year. This year was no different, I went and bought everything I needed, got all my and our guests favorite recipes organized, picked out my linens, and tablewear. Had the children, do a place card craft, for everyones names. Like I said everything according to plan, except this year one day before, the big dinner, I had the brilliant but oh so very scary and last minute, what the heck was I thinking idea, to cook the gigantic 22 pound turkey in the brick oven !!!!!!  What ??? Who does that, decide to try something new last minute, knowing perfectly well, that if it all goes wrong, your guests  will be eating cereal instead of turkey. Well, with the help of  my wonderful Mr.G, and the fear of  failure God instilled in me, we set out on the adventure. Heating th...

1-2-3 Dinner

This is probably one of the easiest things, I put together. I feel like I am cheating when I make it, because it is so fast to prepare. All you need are three ingredients, really just three. My children love it, they would lick, their plate's if I let them. I usually serve it with, rice or noodles, and a vegetable side. Simple, fast, not to expensive and yummy. cubed turkey meat, cream, soup packet sauté turkey meat, in olive oil (no seasoning), you could also add fresh mushrooms at this point, or canned remove from heat, add cream, and soup mix, stir return to heat, cook just till sauce thickens, taste, to add any seasoning serve with pasta or rice, Enjoy :) xo,Diana
