I think that almonds could probably be used instead of the peanuts, and that adding a hint of cinnamon would be nice. While making these, remember to keeping stirring the peanuts, while in the pan, the last couple of minutes will go real fast, when the liquid turns to powder. You want to get in on a baking sheet just before that. Grease your baking sheet before you start, so it's ready to go into the oven, as soon as the peanuts are dry again.
